In Memoriam of Rose Marie Kimball Kavanagh

One of 15 Children. Born in Wakaw Saskatchewan Canada of Ukrainian parents.

Rose immigrated to the USA in the early 1960s to pursue her dreams, although her life in Canada was full of love and joy and sometimes hard she learned the art of cross-stitch and Ukrainian Egg Decorating from her mom Ann Fernuik . Rose brought with her to the USA an abundance of talent and history. An elegant warm-hearted lady strong in spirit, soul and heart .She became a dominant presence in Santa Clara, California for the Graphics and Arts Design industry. Her perfection in her hand drawn illustrations enabled Rose to contract for such large companies as Precision Monolithic Inc and The Nippon Electric Company.

Awards and commendations would follow her career for many years to come in the Graphic Arts and  Design Industry. Easter was always a special time for Rose getting ready to teach her Ukrainian Egg Decorating classes at the Adult Education Center.

Above all her true love was her Rose Garden 53 Rose bushes all named and tendered to so carefully even though struck with severe Rheumatoid Arthritis it never diminished her from her joys and taking care of her American Eskimo Miss Tara and her wild cat Tiagra.

In 2001 she pioneered and help develop the products and launching of Irishgrub .com with her talent and knowledge of graphics and vivid imagination worked fervently on all of our label designs and products.

At the beautiful age of 62 Rose entered a whole new career, Director of Sales and Marketing in the US. Western Region for Irishgrub.com. Rose embellished each and every account for that she had a saying “ I don’t deal with accounts I deal with People and I have a commitment to people” as she always had in her life for Family and friends alike.

To say that we miss and loved Rose would be an understatement She touched so many lives and hearts throughout her life.

Rose passed silently away on October 31st 2003

So when you see a rose bloom, keep it in your heart and you will also bloom as I did when I met my Rose.

God Bless you Rose
